A Word from the President
Hello 25th Infantry Division Association. For those that do not know us, allow me to introduce myself and my loyal partner of 35 years - we are Fred and Faith Middleton.
I enlisted in the Army in 1967. My first experience with the 25th Infantry Division was in 1969 upon my arrival to Vietnam, where I was assigned to 1/27 Infantry Wolfhounds, and then again in 1978 assigned to the 1/5 Bobcats until my departure from Schofield Barracks in 1982 - what I considered the two best assignments of my military career.
I have been a member of the 25th Infantry Association as well as the Wolfhound Pack for many years. I am humbled and proud to be the 25th Infantry Association President and can only hope to perform my duties as well as those before me.
During my years of membership I have noticed the decline in membership, mostly due to the passing of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam veterans. While this is a trend we cannot control, it is my goal - with the help of the membership - to address why newer, younger soldiers do not have an interest in participating in associations like ours, and to make our presence known.
It is my goal during my tenure, with the help of the executive committee, to make this the best Association representing an Infantry Division.

The 25th Infantry Division Association was founded after World War II by veterans of the 25th Infantry Division. Our mission is to foster the bonds of friendship unique to those who served, celebrate their service to the nation, and preserve the distinguished legacy of the "Tropic Lightning" Division.
From the beaches of Guadalcanal to the mountains of Korea, the jungles of Vietnam to the deserts of Iraq and Afghanistan, the soldiers of the 25th Infantry Division have answered the call wherever freedom was threatened.
